Brrrr.... it was so windy and cold out there today, but we got our tree. Jesse was trying hold out until we got some fun snow to go and cut down our tree, but it is pretty brown around here. We decided that Saturday(today) would be the day. Last evening a few flurries fell and both Hadassah and Grace were so excited to see the snow. Not enough for a sleigh ride(they have those at the place were we get our trees). But we all bundled up and picked out our tree. Jesse cut it down and it is up, with lights, and decorated. We will see how Dassah does with it. She kept wanting to take ornaments off to play with. What's a girl to do? So, a couple of pics of the girls with the tree. They love the light best, I think. Some funky picture action here. I don't know how they ended up this way?!? User error? I am too tired to try to redo it.
We just got home from a date. Every year our church hosts a free evening of entertainment to the community as a gift. It is quite lovely with hosts signing up to decorate tables. There is always a dessert buffet and tonight the group Sarah Renner and The Elements performed. Mostly jazz and southern versions of Christmas carols. They were quite talented and it was most enjoyable. And it had been so long since we had had a date, so that made it extra special. Well, I need to go cuddle with my honey as it is a chilly night.
