Summer Birthdays!

Cousins!

Okay, there you have it!  A smattering of photos as we spent the day together celebrating summer birthdays...Papa, Jesse, Grace, Alicia, and Gabriel.

We spent the morning at the lake.  I didn't get many pics there, except for the watermelon break as I was wet and in the water most of the time.  We returned for the rest of the day to my parents for a feast, some baseball, surprise cupcakes, gifts, a walk, and headed home before the storms moved in.  The last pic is after a bit of stormy weather hit our place.  And then we had one last peak at the sun.

Oh, summer.  Picking veggies from our garden.  I am so thankful that it is producing.  I have not been diligent about keeping the weeds away, but we have had lots of rain and hot humid days, so it is growing and producing.  We enjoyed our fill of beans and peas last week.  I think the peas are done already.  I see lots of tomatoes, though. Also, a couple of pics of the girls getting creative with their lunch.  We picked up a bulk supply of blueberries and rainier cherries.  DELICIOUS!  And a pic of Gabe swinging.  Love his little grin!

Saturday night I sat on the couch feeding Gabe and enjoyed the beauty outside.  A storm was coming, but this was what we saw.  I have never seen anything like it before.  Thanks, Jesse, for taking the pics as I was busy.
