A Visit From Grandpa and Grandma

At his 6 weeks appointment 

he weighed 12 pounds and was 23 1/2 inches long.

Trip To The North Shore

We spent a lovely couple of days along the north shore with Nana and Papa.  So many photos and so difficult for me to narrow it down as to which ones to include.  Here is a smattering of pics for you.  The girls put on quite a few miles and were quite the troopers.  Gabe enjoyed his time in his carrier close to Mama.  We all had a relaxing and refreshing time at the  lake and the adventures along the shore.  We missed having Daddy there, of course, but had a great time hanging out with Nana and Papa.  Thanks for a fun trip!

 

Another Day At The Farm

Oh, what a beautiful day in September. It rained last night and then mid morning the sun broke through the clouds so we took a trip over to the farm. The flower gardens are lovely. They are gathering flowers for drying, fresh baked bread for sale, honey sticks, and we got to try a new apple called honey child ( tastes like honey crisp, only they are smaller and earlier). Delicious! I could go on and about what a lovely day God gave us to enjoy, but since you could not be here, I am opting for a few photos. Someday, hopefully my photography skills will improve, but at least you get a glimpse. This is truly such a fun time of year at the farm. And it is almost 80 degrees, can you believe it? It is fall.

Dance and Gymnastics

Grace started her dance and gymnastics class yesterday afternoon. The girls are posing in their new tennis shoes before we left. In the second one they were jumping up and down. Obviously I was having trouble getting them to look at the camera. Grace was so excited for this special class and she is in it with her friend, Abby. She did a great job listening and participated very well. I was so proud of her. I will try to get some photos taken while she is in class, but it just didn't happen yesterday.
