Last weekend my cousin, Brandi, got married. We were able to go to the wedding as Jesse's parents watched the girls. She got married in her parents garden. Lovely. It sprinkled a little bit, but no down pour.
We took the girls to the "Garden Park" for a picnic and some play time on Thursday evening. I tried to snatch a couple of pics of the girls, but it is tough to get them to look at me at the same time. Even with Jesse's help there were too many other good things to check out.
I will add some pics from my attempts.
I was suppose to work on Saturday, but was mandated to stay home. So, we picked out pumpkins and planted to 2 maple trees in our yard. Grace and Hadassah both helped. Grace was so excited.
We also put together Hadassah's new crib. The other one was recalled and we were able to replace it with a new one that converts quite nicely to a toddler bed, but I am not ready for that stage with her, yet.
We also met with a midwife one day last week. No, I am not expecting, but after getting touch with Dawn again and then having a lady from church talk to me about home birth, I had to check it out for myself. We met with Joy and she is great. She answered a lot of my questions. And gave me more to read and look into. She was so knowledgeable and professional. I always thought I would have my children in a hospital, but if the Lord should bless us with any more children we will definitely be considering this as an option.
Jesse is busy with making transitions in his work. When we have more details I will post. We are praying that the Lord will direct our path.
Oh, I finished reading Created To Be His Help Meet. I would recommend it to any wife. In fact I have already recommended it to some of you. Thanks, Dawn.
I felt like I had so much to write tonight, but I am ready to cuddle up with my hubby and read. Hope you all have a great week. Hopefully my pics are just about done downloading.
