Could it be upon us so suddenly? This weekend we were sweating and it was humid and we were at the lake and running through the sprinkler. Yesterday it rained and today fall is in the air. I can't believe I just wrote that. I was going to rebel and keep out the summer clothes, but this morning I have been weeding out the sundresses and tank tops and filling the drawers with jeans ans sweatershirts. Of course, I can't bring myself to do the same for my closet, at least not yet. The wind is chilly. The air is crisp. Summer is my favorite season, but I do love the leaves changing and the field across from our home is filled with pumpkins. They are huge and they are orange. So, once again a new season is upon us.
The Olympics are over. So, we are getting more sleep. At least going to bed earlier. We have traded watching the athletes for our time on the couch of listening to podcasts and reading before bed. Mark Driscoll it is as of late. Thanks, Drew, for the recommendation.
Okay, back to work.
