It has been a busy week. I worked Sunday and Monday and then we spent the rest of the week in Beaver Creek with Jesse's family. The weather warmed up and the girls got to spend lots of time playing with "cousins." Actually, the cousins are Jesse's cousins and that would make them second cousins to the girls, right?
There are several Grace and Hadassah's age and they enjoyed their time, although, after a couple of late nights, they needed to head home.
As we drove yesterday the temp read 91 degrees. I don't know what it was here for a high.
We had a little mishap at the end of last week. While I was at work, Jesse was trying to catch up on some laundry and apparently the girls thought it would be a good time for a trim.
Grace gave Hadassah and herself bangs and also took a huge chunk out of the back of Hadassah hair. (Thankfully she only got into the craft box with the kiddie scissors.) Aughhh.... Given her lack of experience, Grace did not cut
anyone's hair straight. I was going to try to fix their hair myself, but Nana offered to take them for haircuts and they both did very well. I was thankful as I have been trimming their hair at home and did not know how Dassah would do. So, the pic on the couch is of them after a professional tried to fix their hair. Hadassah earned herself a bunch of layers. And being a Momma who does not like bangs much I am adjusting to the new hairdo's. The other pic is of the girls in their new summer sandals and of course they are very pleased to not have to wear tights with their dresses anymore. I am having quite the time with uploading today as the pics keep disappearing while I type. I am working tonight and tomorrow. We had hoped to do some garden prep tomorrow, but rain is in the forecast for the weekend. We were able to get some raspberry bushes this week and I excited about adding that to our garden. Yummy! I am going to try the pics once more and then that is all the patience I have for it today. Oh, I ordered some new glasses off the internet and they arrived today. I needed new ones, but did not have money saved up for them. I bought this pair for $8. Can you believe it? ZenniOptical. I will have to tak a pic of myself. They are the bigger frames that are out now and I have not had them before, but they are not all bent up and I can see. What a deal! I am quite pleased. Here, I will try to take a pic of me quick. Please forgive the fact that I have not showered yet today and look a bit on the grubby side.

Too funny! Thanks for the good laugh and smile it brought to my face. Grace actually didn't do that bad--at least there was still some length on the hairline. Glad it's warming up and I hope you have a splendid weekend!
