On The Move
Gabe is one busy little guy!
I am beginning to see more clearly the difference between boys and girls. He keeps me hopping. What am I going to do when he stops taking 2 naps a day? On June first he took his first steps on his own and is getting more brave each day. I could barely get him to stop moving today when I tried to get a pic. He is pushing his toy and carrying a toy. He likes chasing after his sisters and right now they are excited that he is learning to walk, but not that he gets into their stuff. He had his 9 month appointment last month, a bit behind on posting, anyway he is 29 1/2 inches and 22 pounds and 7 ounces. I also trimmed his bangs. It was so tough for me to do it as I think he looks like such a big boy now, but I am trying to get over it. It was getting stuck in his eyes, especially when he ate and rubbed the food all over. He loves going outdoors. And he says uhhh ohhh all day long. It is so cute and he has lots to say uhhh ohhh about. He loves to wrestle with Daddy and his big sisters. He joins in on the action as soon as he sees Jesse on floor. Well, there is my little Gabe update.

This Week In May
8 years on May 25th
We spent the day at Stillwater and the evening grilling and playing at the lake with our littles.
The Ladies
First trip to the lake this year.
Gabe loved the sand and the water.
Mommy and Gabe
Watermelon!
Yum...oops, Gabe blinked.
I try to keep him under this umbrella when we are out.

A bit of this and a little of that...
Here is a pic Jesse took after he gave Gave his bath yesterday.
Gabe had a busy weekend. Three new teeth popped through and a couple of more on the way.
Not much sleep for me or Gabe on Th and Fr night.
Last night I slept like a rock.
This morning Grace wanted a tea party.
They got to use their Laura Ingalls cups.
And I made orange "julius" tea.
It was a delightful time.
Gabe shared my julius drink and couldn't get enough of it.
He does much better with a cup than with a bottle or sippy.
We made necklaces and bracelets out of all the dandelions they picked.
Thankfully the dandelions aren't growing in our yard this year.
Is he glowing? No, just climbing through the tunnel.
It is so beautiful and sunny out today.
We have been loving it!
I prepped the garden boxes this morning while Gabe slept and we hope to get most of the garden in this evening when Jesse comes home. My seedlings are sitting out front enjoying the sunshine today. I hope they make it. I have such fun varieties this year. The girls can't wait to plant the corn. The littles are all down for a nap so they are ready for helping in the garden later. Well, Gabe, we just have to keep him from eating the seeds and the dirt. Oh, and in case your didn't notice I cut the girls' hair again. We were going to do long for the summer, but shorter is so much easier and I think they both look cute with short cuts. And they are so excited to be wearing sundresses again. So thankful for a beautiful day today, Lord! It is wonderful!
Finished up my work weekend. Some days it is a breeze being back at work and then the next I am beyond exhausted. It is a joy to have our family back together so much more. And Jesse is working for Copper Ridge Construction now in sales. He is really enjoying it although it has been a bit quiet. They specialize in roofs, siding, windows, and storm restoration.
Enjoy the pics and hopefully next time it won't be so long between posts.
More later....
