Qwirkle

Our favorite family game right now is Qwirkle. 

We gave Grace this gift for Christmas.  It is a game that is basic enough for the littles to understand and fun for adults.  We don't always keep score, but as they get older we can add that.  Grace really enjoys playing and Dassah can almost make it through a whole game without getting antsy.  And Gabe, he likes to stack the block pieces we aren't using and sometimes the ones we are using, too:)  I just saw they have a new version with cubes, we have the flat wooden pieces.  A great game to check out with a fun name to say, "Qwirkle!"

we have discontinued our home phone line.  It was almost $30/month and we live in a location where almost everybody is long distance.  If you need to reach me my cell phone is still the same.  We might look into a Magic Jack number in the future.
