Training Pants

"Question?" (as Dassah would say)

Well, Hadassah has decided that she would like to go potty like a big girl(I was going to wait until warmer weather and such, but no). She has been going 1-2 times a day in the toilet. I am looking for some training pants for her that aren't going to put a dent in our budget. I used a combo of diapers/pull-ups/Gerber training pants for Grace. I would like to skip the pull-ups this time around and I was wondering if anyone knew of a training pant like Gerber, but just a tad bit more padding? Please sent me an e-mail soon if you have suggestions as I am going to try to find some for her this weekend. Thanks.

Spring Break At Our House

The girls broke out their swimsuits yesterday and played all morning in them. First they were going to the beach and bringing out towels and then they were headed off to the swimming pool(my bed). Grace asked me if I get to sleep in the swimming pool at night(I guess so, who knew?). Here are a few pics of them. Can you guess which one Grace is trying to make a silly face in?

Let's just say they have a little spring fever. Which reminds me, don't forget to set your clocks ahead this week or you might be late for church.

What is going on out there?

I just drove home from work. It was pouring, as in rain. Can you believe it? The temperature is 42 degrees and it is raining cats and dogs and blowing like crazy and it is February. Welcome to MN. (I hope spring is following close behind)

A Snowman On Saturday

Project completed!

All smiles!

My little monkeys.

Didn't know if I would get her to move from this spot.

Well, it warmed up on Saturday. Jesse played outside with the girls in the morning and then after naps I took them out. By then, the snow was sticky enough for a snowman, but it was so windy! Dassah is still not a snow girl. So, she spent most of the time on the front steps watching. She did add the mouth to the snowman and also wanted her pic by it. This is quite amazing as usually she does not want to step on any snow. Grace thought it was wonderful to make a snowman and helped me be creative in decorating it. Today the temps are below zero, again, and so the snowman still stands, although he melted a bit to the right. Grace is concerned he might tip over.

Question?

As Dassah would say, "Question?" It is so cute. Grace always says, "I have a question Mommy." Dassah tries to imitate her. Anyway, on to my question. With this pregnancy my face is so dry! I know we are having an artic winter and some days it seems soooo long, but this is different. I have been using coconut oil as my "lotion" for the last year and it has worked great. Shortly after finding out I was pregnant my face, especially around my nose and mouth is dry and red and flaking. I know, too much information. I can lather on any type of moisturizer at night and thick, too, and when I wake up it looks the same, all dried out. Any help, please?
